While the black bag is still a classic , demand for strong colours is really apparent in this seasons collections. Kelly Green, Hot Pink, Ruby Red and Burgundy are among the hottest. Statement earrings are the perfect way to add va-va voom to any look! We love the new trend for Gold and with this season’s catwalk trends favouring the warmer shades of Tans, Greens and Burgundy it is definitely worth investing in our latest range from Corona.

SUMMER GARDEN PARTIES
You know that the Summer social calender has really kicked off when the ‘Taste of Dublin‘ is upon us. Held in the stunning Iveagh Gardens from 9-12 June, what better excuse to take out the little cotton dresses and floaty numbers. While a garden event often requires attire that is semi formal, less definitely is more. This type of event lends itself to fabulous accessories. To help you stand out from the crowd here are some do’s and don’ts for sizzling summer style…
Do
- Keep it simple and add personality with carefully chosen accessories.
- Wear a pretty flower in your hair – why not be as pretty as the flowers around you!!
- Wear a great scarf. If you are attending straight from work it is a wonderful way to change your look – try the St Tropez look with polka dots or something chiffon and floaty.
- If the weather is against you, great jeans look great teamed with something flirty like a halterneck top that at least gives a nod to Summer. Light or vibrant colours can suggest Summer even when the weather doesn’t. Team with a great bag and a fab pair of wedges to add sophistication and individuality.
Don’t
- Wear stillettos – they will sink in the grass. Stick to wedges or cute ballet shoes.
- Wear white – it looks fab but not if you intend sitting on grass or drinking red wine.
- Wear satin or sequins – less is more.
- Wear short and tight – short flirty skirts are great though if you have great legs.
